An original equipment alternator professionally rebuilt by Anchor Motorworks using quality replacement components. Each unit is inspected and tested to ensure proper charging performance and long-term reliability.

Both options include the Gates EG1 alternator drive coupler.

Gates EG1 Drive Coupler Included

Every alternator comes with a Gates EG1 alternator drive coupler.

This coupler is an important component of the alternator drive system, helping transmit power from the engine to the alternator while accommodating torsional vibrations.

Replacing the drive coupler during alternator installation helps ensure the complete drive system is in good working condition and reduces the risk of problems caused by a worn original coupler.

There is no need to purchase the drive coupler separately, as it is included with your alternator.

10-Year / 100,000-Mile Limited Warranty

Both New OEM and Remanufactured alternators are backed by our 10-year/100,000-mile limited warranty, whichever comes first.

In the event of a qualifying failure, Anchor Motorworks will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective alternator. Diagnostic testing may be required to verify the failure before a warranty claim is approved.

Warranty coverage excludes damage caused by oil, fuel, coolant contamination, water intrusion, improper installation, misuse, or external electrical system faults.

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

Warranty coverage applies to the alternator itself and does not include labor for removal or installation, towing, consequential damages, or other associated expenses.

$200 Refundable Core Charge

A $200 refundable core charge is added to the purchase price.

Once we receive your old, identical McLaren alternator core, the $200 core charge will be refunded.

The returned core must be the correct matching alternator and suitable for remanufacturing. Please contact us if you have any questions about core return eligibility or shipping.
